If you plan to mail a gift – the IRS requires that your gift be received or have an official post mark on or before December 31, 2023. This does not mean a check dated 12/31/2023 – you must have the official post mark on the mailing envelope.

*Note: If you intend to make a gift from your Donor-advised fund or IRA, transfer appreciated stocks, cryptocurrency or other assets – these more complex types of donations take time to complete. Please make sure to initiate these types of gifts early with your financial partners to ensure the funds arrive well in advance of December 31st.
